Leo’s Tavern hosts festival: Féile Ceoil Leo

Leo’s Tavern is to host its very own festival in the Autumn of 2010: Féile Ceoil Leo is due to take place from 11-13th September 2010, with dates yet to be confirmed. We’ll keep you up to date as time goes on (click for mailing list), but according to Ireland’s official tourism website, a few surprise guests are expected to celebrate the festival. Who could it be?? From Moya Brennan to Clannad, Brídín Brennan and Enya, The Duggans and Norland Wind and local singers from Maighréad & Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill and Altan’s Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh… we wonder who…?
While waiting, we found a realllly COOL site from Leo’s showband days, and a ticket to the Slieve Foy Show-Band’s concerts costing a mighty five shillings! The Brennan patriarch himself!
