Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh has announced that she is heading into the recording studio with Moya Brennan, Maighréad Ní Dhomhnaill and Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill, known as ‘T With the Maggies’, to record a few tracks in a few days. We’ll spill all over the coming weeks and months. Sign up to the mailing list for more. Mairéad has just finished recording a new Altan album with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and her very first solo project. Moya is also recording AND Maighréad is recording her first album in… a very long time. Keep an eye out for our exciting Maggies news! xD

    i saw the 3 maggies live in the letterkenny an grianan theatre recently. mairead from altan's voice blows me away every time. i'd travel anywhere to hear it. a cd or even better a live dvd would go down well. Saw altan + rte orchestra 2 weeks ago, rte were recording on the night so hopefully it makes it to dvd. 100% Altan are magic.
