ORIGINAL POST MAY 5TH 2009, 3:23PM. Moya Brennan is one in a string of artists to record on Maura O’Connell‘s new acapella album. The album is simply made up of voices, without instruments. Moya Brennan (of Clannad), Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh (of Altan), Mary Black, Dolly Parton and Paul Brady will all perform on the album, titled ‘Naked With Friends’. Each of these artists have recorded with one another or performed together at some point, which makes it an about-time album, with some awesome tracks… all to be revealed on June 16, and all from one ALL of Ireland’s greatest singers…!!! Moya and Cherish The Ladies’ flautist Joanie Madden have also recorded on Ashley Davis‘ new album, tiny world!!
