To celebrate a decade of Irish Charity ‘To Russia with Love’, Gay Byrne will be hosting an event to raise awareness and funds for the charity on February 25th at the National Concert Hall. At the concert will be Moya Brennan, along with Cara O’Sullivan, Nóirín Ní Riain & Amen (Eoin & Mícheál P. Súilleabháin), who were all part of Sanctuary previously and other entertainers such as Keith Duffy, Marian Keyes (hilarious author!!), Finghin Collins, Eleanor Shanley, Brendan O’Connor, Maeve Higgins and many more.

All money raised from the evening goes directly to To Russia with Love. Artists and production team are providing their services free. To Russia with Love was founded by Debbie Deegan in 1998 to bring love and decent living conditions to the Russian orphans living in the Hortolova Orphanage. To date they have helped over 5,000 children and now work in varying capacities in the running of all 12 orphanages in the Bryansk region of Western Russia. They have recently introduced their Final Steps programme to support the children leaving their orphanages to enter third level education.
