Cormac de Barra

Cormac de Barra will perform in Lisburn City (close to my house!) on Friday 13th February 2009. He will perform alongside Karin Leitner with whom he recorded the album ‘Music of Great Irish Houses’. Cormac, who is a member of the Moya Brennan and Clannad bands and hosts ‘Imeall’ on TG4 will perform a concert called “O Carolan’s Dream” in the Island Arts Centre, performing the tunes of great Irish harpist and bard Turlough O’Carolan who composed the tune for ‘Down By The Sally Gardens’ that was subsequently set to words by W.
