Moya Brennan features a lot, along with Mary Black and others, in as new DVD. ‘The Late Late Show Tribute To The Dubliners’ was first broadcast in March 1987, but was never realeased from the RTÉ Archives. You can’t watch any of this on YouTube, but the DVD’s quality is amazing, with extra never-seen-before songs featuring Moya Brennan. (The YouTube videos were for a Chieftains tribute that same year) There is also some behind the scenes footage, which also includes U2 and others. For more information or to buy the DVD, click here. The old video master tapes have been dusted down and re-mastered and for the first time this extended edition is released on DVD. It will bring back happy memories to those who saw it live 21 years ago, and for those who weren’t born then, it will be an insight to the calibre of all the artists involved.
