Original post (11/NOV/2008): Enya will be appearing on GMTV Live in two days time (Thursday 13th November). More importantly, Enya will be performing at ‘Children In Need’ and annual fundraising event hosted by the BBC, on Friday night, 15th November 2008. The British and Irish broadcast features world class musicians and will be hosted mainly by Terry Wogan who gave ‘Trains and Winter Rains’ its’ début broadcast. Clannad also released the very first official single for Children In Need in 1985 – ‘Almost Seems (Too Late To Turn)’.
To watch this event, you can switch to BBC1 and (throughout the night various times) BBC2. Parts of the event will also be broadcast on ABC in various US states and highlights (probably including the Enya broadcast) will be added to the BBC’s website. Children In Need raises millions during on day/night every year thanks to public fundraisers and phone-ins.
